About the MSSPP
The Missionary Society of Saints Peter and Paul (MSSPP) is an Old Roman Catholic missionary society canonically established to carry forth the apostolic mandate of the Church across Asia and the wider world. As a Metropolitan See, it holds the responsibility of shepherding its Ecclesiastical Districts, Dioceses, and mission communities with fidelity to the Gospel, love for the faithful, and zeal for evangelization.
The Metropolitan See for Asia serves as the central hierarchical authority, providing pastoral guidance, theological formation, and missionary coordination to its clergy, religious, and lay collaborators spread across multiple nations.
History, Identity & Vision
Who We Are
The Metropolitan See for Asia — Missionary Society of Saints Peter and Paul — is a canonically established Catholic ecclesiastical body with apostolic mandate to govern, shepherd, and evangelize the peoples entrusted to its care. Rooted in the tradition of the Apostles Peter and Paul, the Society unites the Petrine charism of unity with the Pauline charism of mission.
The Metropolitan See holds supreme pastoral authority over its Ecclesiastical Districts, Dioceses, and all affiliated institutions, including the Dominus Iesus School of Theology. It operates in full fidelity to the Sacred Tradition of the Catholic Church, guided by the Holy Scriptures, the Magisterium, and the universal canons of ecclesiastical governance.
